After graduation, I further my studies and pursued a master's degree in Transportation Engineering at Chang'an University. During this period, my research projects focused on engineering applications and technology development, especially the design and implementation of fiber optic cable fault location systems. This experience greatly enriched my professional knowledge and practical abilities.
2. Undergraduate and master's level English learning situation, including course learning and exam results, such as CET-4 .
During my undergraduate studies, I majored in Information and Computational Science at Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, and English learning has always been an important component of my studies. Through systematic course learning, I have gradually mastered the basic knowledge of English, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc., and have also made significant improvements in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and other aspects. I have always maintained a passion and effort for learning English, striving to make progress in all aspects.
After entering the master's program, I continued to study Transportation Engineering at Chang'an University and delved deeper into English courses. At this stage, I not only further consolidated my English foundation through course learning, but also actively participated in English listening and speaking training, striving to improve my practical application ability. After unremitting efforts, I successfully passed the College English Test Band 4 (CET-4) and obtained a qualified score (report number 0464144335160180). Although I did not continue to take CET-6 or other higher-level English exams, my passing score in CET-4 has laid a solid foundation in English for my academic research and future development.
3. Please describe in detail the emotions of anxiety, joy, boredom, pride, etc. in your past English learning.
When reviewing my English learning journey, various emotions are intertwined, forming the trajectory of my growth.
Anxiety often accompanies me, especially when facing complex grammar rules and endless word memorization. Whenever an exam approaches, I always fall into deep self doubt, worrying whether I have truly mastered this language. Countless nights, I buried my head in the sea of books, trying to overcome that anxiety and gradually turn it into a driving force for progress.
Pleasure comes from every small breakthrough. When I am able to communicate smoothly with foreign friends or successfully translate a complex article, that sense of achievement is like a gentle rain, nourishing my heart. At that moment, all the efforts and persistence turned into a smile with the corners of his mouth curled up.
Boredom occasionally invades my study time. Especially when practicing the same sentence patterns or listening materials repeatedly, the repetition and monotony make me feel tired. But it was these seemingly boring accumulations that laid a solid foundation for me, allowing me to be more adept in my later studies.
Pride is one of the most valuable gains in my journey of learning English. As I see my English proficiency gradually improving, from learning to confidently express my opinions, a sense of pride arises from within. I deeply understand that all of this cannot be separated from the sweat and tears I once shed. It is these experiences that have shaped my more resilient and confident self.
4. Previous publication experience, journal introduction, article topic, field, etc; If not available, you can introduce your master's thesis.
Throughout my academic career, I have been dedicated to research and practice in the fields of intelligent transportation systems and traffic information engineering. So far, I have published several professional papers in multiple academic journals, which not only witness my academic growth, but also reflect my deep understanding and exploration of the professional field.
One of my representative works, "Technical Analysis of Condition Detection and Evaluation of Mechanical and Electrical Facilities in Highway Tunnels," was published in the journal "Highway". This article, as my first work, deeply explores the status detection and evaluation technology of highway tunnel electromechanical facilities. Through comparative analysis of existing detection methods, a more efficient and accurate evaluation system is proposed, providing important theoretical support for the maintenance and management of tunnel electromechanical facilities. As an important academic platform in the field of transportation engineering, the authority and influence of this journal have added weight to my research results. In addition, I independently completed a study on the influencing factors and control points of the quality of hot-melt traffic markings, which was successfully published in Highway Traffic Technology. This article systematically analyzes the quality influencing factors of hot-melt traffic markings that are prone to problems in practical applications, and proposes effective control measures, which have practical significance for improving the level of road traffic safety. At the same time, I also collaborated with team members and published multiple research results on intelligent transportation systems, tunnel electromechanical engineering status assessment, and other aspects in "Highway Transportation Technology". These articles have received high praise from industry experts.
During my master's studies, the master's thesis I wrote titled 'Design of Fiber Optic Cable Fault Location System Based on Wavelet Transform' demonstrated my profound understanding of engineering technology applications. This paper conducts in-depth research on fiber optic cable fault location technology and designs and implements a fiber optic cable fault location system based on wavelet transform, effectively solving the problem of fiber optic cable fault location in highway fiber optic cable relocation projects. This research not only has high theoretical value, but also has strong practical application prospects, laying a solid foundation for my academic career.
